These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service. Use of the Service by a minor (under 16 years of age) is prohibited without parental consent.
Minerva Careers provides a browser-based CV analysis tool that allows users to upload or paste CV content and receive automated feedback regarding Applicant Tracking System (ATS) compatibility, keyword matching, formatting, and overall quality scoring. We also offer an AI-powered Cover Letter Analysis feature and editorial articles relating to career development.
Minerva Careers is an educational and informational tool. It simulates ATS behaviour based on observed patterns but does not represent any specific employer's hiring system or guarantee employment outcomes.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
Subject to these Terms, Minerva Careers grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically to analyse and improve your own CV and cover letters.
You may also use the Service to assist family members, friends, or clients on an informal, non-commercial basis. Professional career coaches and similar practitioners should contact us for commercial licensing arrangements.

The Service and its original content (excluding your CV and cover letter content), features, functionality, design, code, and all associated intellectual property rights are and will remain the exclusive property of Minerva Careers and its licensors.
Our trademarks, including the Minerva Careers name, logo, and brand elements, may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
Articles published on Minerva Careers are protected by copyright. You may share links and brief excerpts (up to 100 words) with attribution, but you may not reproduce full articles without permission.
You retain full ownership of your CV, cover letter, and any other content you input into Minerva Careers. As described in our Privacy Policy, this content is processed client-side and is never stored by us.
By using the Cover Letter Analysis feature, you grant a limited, temporary licence to process your text via Anthropic's API solely for the purpose of providing analysis results to you. This licence terminates immediately upon completion of the analysis.
You represent and warrant that any content you input does not violate the rights of any third party or applicable law.
The Cover Letter Analysis feature uses a large language model (Claude by Anthropic) to generate feedback and suggestions. You acknowledge that:
Always review AI-generated rewrites and suggestions critically. Use them as a starting point, not a final product.
No guarantee of employment outcomes. Minerva Careers makes no representation that using our Service will result in interviews, job offers, or any other employment outcome. CV scoring and ATS analysis are approximations based on common patterns and do not replicate any specific employer's systems.
Service availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that may temporarily affect availability.
"As is" provision. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Minerva Careers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

The Service relies on certain third-party technologies, including Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis. Your use of the Cover Letter Analysis feature is also subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service.
Links to external websites in our articles are provided for convenience only. Minerva Careers does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of external sites.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms or conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 12 will survive any termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
